Dr. Ullas Gargi graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. Starting his career in research at HP, he moved to research at Google before migrating to product teams. Dr. Gargi worked on at least 4 different recommendation systems in different contexts. One of the founding team that launched YouTube Music, Dr. Gargi worked on content publishing, corpus, data & discovery.
Ullas was a student of Rangachar Kasturi. He is one of the Panelists for Panel Discussion 1 “A.I.: Then and Now”
