David Dapice
Vietnam and Myanmar Program, Harvard Kennedy School

David Dapice is currently the economist of the Vietnam Program at Harvard’s Kennedy School. He has worked in and primarily on Southeast Asia since 1971 with most work on Indonesia, Vietnam, and Myanmar. He was a professor of economics at Tufts University from 1973 to 2016 and served as chair of the department. He has worked on agriculture, energy, macroeconomics. He has advised governments directly and through the Harvard Institute for International Development, Rockefeller Foundation, World Bank, USAID, and UNDP.
