Duc is a lifelong learner and curious problem solver with a strong passion for a better Vietnam. He is currently serving Becamex, Vietnam’s leading industrial park & township developer. As a graduate from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy with diverse professional experiences in corporate and international development agencies, Duc embraces wholeheartedly Becamex's dual goals of creating business value and driving socio-economic development, which has played a significant role in transforming Binh Duong into the country's manufacturing hub and FDI magnet over the past 3 decades. As the executive assistant to the Group’s chairman, he is currently spearheading strategic innovation & entrepreneurship initiatives, including Science & Technology Industrial Park Project and Block71 Saigon and strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the ecosystem.
Block71 Saigon is the tech ecosystem builder and business connector, strategic partnership between National University of Singapore and Becamex to leverage on both global and local expertise and network. The platform is empowered to support local startups going regional, overseas startup venturing into the country and promote open innovation.
Science & Technology Industrial Park is planned to become the new generation of industrial park that curate a complete innovation value chain: training & education, R&D, technology commercialization, startup, advanced manufacturing. This is Becamex ambition to work with international and local stakeholders to make Vietnam the destination for high value added manufacturing activities and propel innovation-driven economy.
