Hugh has worked for 39 years in a variety of business development, operations, project management and engineering roles across international petroleum, LNG and power sectors with BP, General Electric (UK), Mubadala Petroleum, Rolls Royce and Salamander Energy in Vietnam, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia and Australia.
Hugh’s knowledge and exposure to the energy sector lifecycle spans country access through monetization and exit. He enjoys establishing and developing teams as well as the diverse business relationships from the numerous interactions with partners, sellers, buyers, NOCs, and Governments across asset-based transactions, project implementation and operations.
Hugh is now focusing on developing a better understanding of and tracking or engaging on energy transition opportunities; notably multi-national renewables and LNG/gas in Vietnam.
