Mr. Tran Viet Huan (Ph.D. in Computer Science) is the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of SonKim Group and SonKim Retail. Mr. Huan is responsible for the digital transformation strategy and IT strategy development and implementation of the corporation and all member companies. He is also responsible for building cooperation programs with partners in developing an open ecosystem towards providing comprehensive services to consumers.
Besides, he is the Vice President of the Community of Information Technology (CIO Vietnam) – the largest IT leadership community in Vietnam, intending to promote the sharing of knowledge, experience and raising the next generation of IT leaders. As a leader who bridges the gap between technology and business, between business and startup, Mr. Huan has a unique individual philosophy and great personal value. Therefore, Mr. Huan can gain success, as well as inspire and guide people to define and reach their life goals.
Before joining SonKim Retail, during his 11 years of experience in IBM Vietnam, he has been involved in IT strategy consultation and the development of the oVERAll corporate architecture for many customers in different fields, including government, goods, telecommunications, and retail, etc.
Up to now, Mr. Huan has been able to impress not only his colleagues but also his customers with his in-depth knowledge in many fields such as banking, telecommunications, retail and public services, and interdisciplinary capabilities. Mr. Huan is always admired for his great experience and unmatched knowledge of cloud technologies, along with his ability to quickly adapt and succeed in difficult and competitive market conditions.
