Tran Thi Thuc Huyen is the Program Officer of YSEALI Academy at Fulbright University Vietnam. Prior to joining FUV, she has worked in non-profit organizations, educational sector and retail industry.
Huyen has a strong connection with YSEALI and its activities. Under YSEALI Program, she has been an Academic Fellow at the University of Montana, and a mentor at YSEALI Regional Workshop: Protecting the Mekong River. She has also met U.S. President Barack Obama in YSEALI Townhall, and President Joe Biden in Global Leadership Award.
With YSEALI Academy, she hopes to contribute to a stronger growth among U.S., ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste, and nurture a close-knit network of young people in the region.
Huyen holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Waseda University (Japan). She is an alumna of Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam), and the Elliott School of International Affairs – The George Washington University (U.S.). She speaks Vietnamese, English, and Japanese.
