Socheata Sim currently serves as Program Manager of Oxfam Mekong Regional Water Governance Program. Since rejoining the organization in mid-2014, Socheata manages the portfolio of Water Governance in the Lower Mekong Basin to promote inclusive civil society engagement in water resources management and governance, with the particular focus on enhance the voice, agency and leadership of women and most marginalized groups in the water governance processes in the Mekong. Prior to this role, Socheata served in various roles in INGO aimed at promoting women’s rights and women’s Empowerment, Health Policy Research, and Grassroots Research and Documentations. Socheata holds a Master of Public Health from The University of Melbourne, Australia, and a Diploma on Development Studies from the Graduate Institute for Develop Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.
