Le Thi Anh Nguyet
Legal and Compliance Manager

Nguyet has nurtured a passion for laws since she was still a child in Da Nang city. Thanks to many scholarships, from Sweden, Japan, and most recently, the Fulbright Scholar at American University in the United States, Nguyet was granted a variety of wonderful opportunities to observe how laws are implemented, interpreted, and executed in different jurisdictions.

After graduating with a distinguished degree in international law from a leading law university in Ho Chi Minh city in 2001, Nguyet taught and served as a legal consultant for enterprises and governments in anti-dumping lawsuits, WTO subsidies, international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings. Before joining Fulbright University Vietnam, Nguyet was Associate Director at KMPG Law, in charge of advising Vietnamese laws for foreign-invested enterprises and foreign investors on their investments and commercial business transactions in Vietnam, as well as representing them in other related disputes under courts and/or arbitration proceedings.

Nguyet also frequently publishes and gives speeches about WTO law, globalization, CISG 1980, investment law, and international arbitration in Vietnam and other countries. With comprehensive publications and active participation in international arbitration, Nguyet has been serving as a member of the Scientific Council of Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC) – the most prestigious arbitration center in Vietnam – since 2018.

Above all, Nguyet deeply believes in the community values from Fulbright University Vietnam to improve education quality and living standards of people in every town and city in Vietnam. Nguyet is excited to join hands with Fulbright and its esteemed colleagues in the journey to bring fair and equal education opportunities for Vietnamese students.
