Bio:   

Dr. Hoang Minh To Nga has untiring love for education. From 2007 to March 2022, she started her career in Psychology as a lecturer, teaching undergraduate and Master programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City. She was a visiting lecturer at John Carol University, Ohio in 1999, teaching Theories of Counseling and Psychotherapy for Master students. She was also invited to be a speaker in several community programs in Vietnam and Asian countries.  

Seized with great passion to heal people affected with mental health and relationship problems, she engaged in clinical work as a clinical director of Hon Viet Psychological Science Application Center from December 1999 to September 2014. In 2000, to serve the underprivileged in Vietnam and train the next generation of psychologists in this mission, she founded Viet An Psychology, a non-profit organization that provides training, psychotherapy and family therapy to individuals, families and organizations, with special dedication to low income people, who will receive free counseling services at the center.  

Her research interests focus on couple and family relationships, familial factors in mental health problems, collective self-esteem, resilience, and clinical trial research.
