The YSEALI Entrepreneurship Seminar on "Navigating the Startup Ecosystem" is a 2-week seminar geared towards young professionals who plan to embark on their own entrepreneurial journey.
The seminar will provide comprehensive lectures, panel discussions, coaching sessions and a hackathon event, where participants have a chance to build conceptual business solutions for pressing societal problems. This seminar will unlock entrepreneurial potential that can change the world.

“Navigating the startup ecosystem” is geared towards young professionals who plan to embark on their own entrepreneurial journey to change the world. This seminar will give YSEALI fellows an overview of how to navigate the startup ecosystem to bring their business ideas to life. The seminar will invite exciting entrepreneurs from all stages of the startup life cycle, investors, marketers and leadership coaches to inspire the fellows and share their learned lessons with them. The seminar will feature a Hackathon, where fellows will work in teams to present conceptual business solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of society. A panel of experienced entrepreneurs will mentor fellows during the Hackathon, which culminates in startup pitches and an award ceremony.
The Seminar will be divided into five modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Entrepreneurship
Module 2: Getting started - how to launch a successful startup
Module 3: Building your leadership capacities
Module 4: Learned lessons from active entrepreneurs
Module 5: Hackathon
The speakers of the Entrepreneurship Seminar are professors from well-known universities and leaders from the industry from the U.S., Europe, and Asia Pacific region with diverse experiences in Southeast Asia. They will participate in various forms of the seminar: interactive lectures, panel discussion, and leadership workshops.
