The 2023 YSEALI Academy Public Policy Seminar on “From Geopolitics to Geoeconomics: Southeast Asia in the Whirlwind of Global Competition” officially concluded on December 1, 2023.
Our Closing Ceremony and Gala Dinner were filled with fun and excitement! We were honored to host Deputy Principal Officer Anne Benjaminson (U.S. Consulate General - Ho Chi Minh City), Consul Soneta Asmara (Consulate General of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City), Consul Keo Bunrith (Consulate General of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City), and Consul Tharanut Koonyotying (Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City) to join us and celebrate the success of our Public Policy Fellows.
11 distinct cultural performances by our fellows took the audience on a Southeast Asia trip! We were able to try new food, play games, dance, sing, and experience new cultures in just within a few hours.
Our fellows, or now, our alumni - thank you for choosing the YSEALI Academy! It was great having you here in Ho Chi Minh City for a week-long journey of learning, engaging, and creating life-long friendships. You will be greatly missed!
