Stepping into the second week of the Energy Economics and Policy Seminar, Fellows participated in the second Panel discussion about “Solar Energy: Opportunities and Challenges”

The list of speakers include:

- Mr. Michael Luong, CEO, Asia Clean Capital Vietnam Company Ltd.

Mr. Kheng Joo Ung, Managing Director, First Solar Vietnam Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

- Mr. Frederick (Fred) R. Burke, Senior Advisor, Baker & McKenzie (Vietnam) Ltd.

- Moderator: Dr. Le Thai Ha, Fulbright University Vietnam

In the evening: Fellows went on with lecture 6 “Solar Energy: Principles, Supply Perspectives and Cost Estimates” led by Dr. Youngho Chang (Associate Professor and Head of Business and Management Minors, Singapore University of Social Sciences, Singapore) and Mr. Fabby Tumiwa (Executive Director, Executive Director, Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR), Indonesia). In this session, Fellows had the opportunity to dig deeper into Southeast Asian energy trends and issues. Moreover, Myanmar is the host country today during the Cultural Break Activity and showcased a lot of interesting values in their tradition.
